Purchase and license terms.
These terms apply to digital concept plan packages purchased from JYD House Plan Designs. By purchasing or using a package, the buyer accepts these terms and the license included with the selected tier.
Concept designs and professional review
All plans, renderings, and materials provided by JYD House Plan Designs are conceptual and provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty that the design is suitable for construction, complies with any building code, or is structurally sound. Buyer is solely responsible for engaging a licensed architect or engineer to review, finalize, seal, and adapt the plans as required by their local jurisdiction prior to construction. JYD House Plan Designs is not liable for any injury, property damage, financial loss, code violation, permit denial, or other harm arising from the use, construction, modification, or interpretation of any plan purchased, including where a buyer proceeds without professional review. Buyer assumes all risk associated with use of the purchased materials.
Starter Concept — $59 single payment
The Starter package is licensed for the buyer's personal evaluation and professional design conversations. It includes exterior renderings, a non-dimensioned floor sketch, and a basic specification sheet. It does not grant construction rights or permission to build directly from the materials.
Standard Build — $349 single payment
The Standard package is licensed to the buyer for professional adaptation into one built project at one site. The buyer may share the files with licensed professionals, contractors, estimators, lenders, and permitting authorities only as needed for that project. A second build, resale, public redistribution, or use in another project requires a separate license.
Premium Multi-Use — $899 single payment
The Premium package permits the buyer to have licensed professionals adapt the concept for multiple projects and commercial development use. It does not transfer copyright, permit resale of the plan files as a competing design product, or remove the requirement for project-specific professional review. The included revision is concept-level and does not include permit drawings, engineering, stamps, or code analysis.
Copyright and permitted modifications
JYD House Plan Designs retains copyright and ownership of the original plans, renderings, and materials. A buyer may have the materials modified only within the scope of the purchased license. Copyright notices may not be removed, and source files or complete drawing sets may not be posted publicly, sublicensed, resold, or distributed beyond people working on an authorized project.
Digital delivery, payment, and refunds
Packages are digital products sold for a single payment, with no recurring billing. Each payment authorizes one download of the selected plan package within one hour of successful payment. A completed download consumes that access. Returning to the confirmation page does not extend the deadline or restore a used download, and further download access requires a new purchase. The buyer is responsible for providing a valid email address, promptly downloading the package, and securely retaining files and backups. Files already saved remain usable under the purchased license. Because access to digital materials is provided immediately, purchases are final except where required by law or where JYD House Plan Designs confirms that the delivered files are materially incomplete or inaccessible.
Site, cost, and permit responsibility
The buyer is responsible for surveys, soils information, zoning, setbacks, utilities, site design, structural engineering, mechanical systems, energy compliance, permits, contractor pricing, and all local approvals. Dimensions, quantities, material estimates, and renderings are conceptual and must be independently verified.
